So what do I teach the last two weeks of kindergarten? The trick I have learned is to keep your routines, activities and procedures the same as much as possible or things can go haywire very quickly.
To get the perfect crease in your card, use the handle of a pair of metal scissors to run along the crease a couple of times.My sweet kinders have come so far this year, and it is hard to imagine sending them off to another teacher. After it's cut out, fold your card in half.After printing, cut out your card just inside the light blue hairline that runs the perimeter of the entire card.Not every printer does this, but it's fun to experiment. This can help create an authentic watercolor feeling in designs like this one. Often times, draft mode can create small striations in a printed piece. You can print using your home printer's "normal" or even "draft" mode.That's where I get my own personal cardstock supply.
